THE GLORY OF HEAVEN

If you’ve never BEGGED the Lord Jesus to allow you to be the very LEAST in the kingdom of heaven, even the very LOWEST keeper of the gate, beneath the humblest angel, under the meekest saint, then you have NEVER SEEN Jesus Christ in his GLORY by the POWER of the Holy Spirit, nor you have ever entertained even a SLICE of an ACCURATE CONCEPT of heaven, nor have you, unlike the TRULY REGENERATE, ever BEHELD THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IN THE SPIRIT, nor do you possess a scriptural comprehension of the UNSPEAKABLE TORMENTS OF HELL, all of which may very well be to your everlasting dismay, for many are called, but FEW are chosen.

While it is not necessary to have such an experience as the above -- and in fact would be extraordinarily rare -- yet the TRULY REGENERATE DO -- I say, DO -- indeed, the TRULY REGENERATE DO have their EXPERIENCES IN THE HOLY SPIRIT, as the Spirit and the Word do VERILY testify, and by the VERY SAME HAND who wrote the above words --

Though it is habitual today for unregenerate pastors and teachers when discoursing about the kingdom of heaven and the things of God to leave off the ending of the above statement by Paul -- in other words, to leave off the part which begins, "BUT GOD HATH REVEALED THEM UNTO US BY HIS SPIRIT" -- indeed, even though it is standard protocol today for pastors and teachers to leave this part out, and to therefore ignorantly imply that God hath NOT revealed these things unto those of us who TRULY belong to Jesus Christ, yet they will soon burn for their carnal heresy, being manifestly unregenerate themselves, and therefore CLUELESS as to the EXPERIENCE that the Holy Spirit brings with him when he TRULY INDWELLS a man in the UNMISTAKABLE SUPERNATURAL MIRACLE of the NEW BIRTH, and thus these carnal preachers are nothing but blind leaders of the blind who lead uncounted multitudes away from the light and into the darkness. They know NOTHING WHATSOEVER of the VERACITY of these words by Jonathan Edwards --

And thus these very same unregenerate pastors and teachers who are utterly devoid of the Holy Spirit and his SUPERNATURAL EXPERIENCES will rue the day they were physically born when they discover that they themselves have NOT BEHELD these things BY THE HOLY SPIRIT, and all for the simple reason that they themselves don't TRULY belong to Jesus Christ, having never EXPERIENCED the UNMISTAKABLE SUPERNATURAL MIRACLE of the NEW BIRTH themselves, while those of us who HAVE -- indeed, while those of us who HAVE EXPERIENCED the UNMISTAKABLE SUPERNATURAL MIRACLE of the NEW BIRTH and who are therefore TRULY REGENERATE in this world, and who thus HAVE in fact BEHELD THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IN THE SPIRIT -- yes, we ALONE are able also to TRULY PRIZE the kingdom of heaven, as well as TRULY KNOW the TERRORS OF HELL, especially those of us who possess GENUINE EXPERIENCE in the Holy Spirit through the FAITHFUL AFFLICTIONS of God the Father, indeed, we and we ALONE are able to TRULY PRIZE the kingdom of heaven and the TERRORS OF HELL, and to a degree FAR, FAR GREATER than the natural man can POSSIBLY conceive, and will in fact NEVER be able to conceive in this world, not until it's too late, though even then it will so astonish him that he will hardly be able to believe it. Yet the unregenerate pastors and teachers who have a Christianity WITHOUT the Holy Spirit will be at the head of the line when the unregenerate receive their due, for all their fruit is DEAD FRUIT, and all their reward is CARNAL. Just wait and see.

My friend, have you even BEGUN to understand these following words of John Flavel, as well as the above declaration, and just how VAST an UNDERSTATEMENT his words truly are --

You cannot even VAGUELY CONCEIVE of the ABJECT MISERY that hell will bring when it rises to meet you. Hell itself is a MISERY and a DESOLATION that is both CONSTANT and ETERNAL, like a dripping faucet that cannot be fixed, and there is nothing even REMOTELY in this world that can even BEGIN to accurately portray it, for there is CONSTANT pain there, CONSTANT sorrow there, CONSTANT terror there, and CONSTANT hopelessness there. On top of that, there is also a REMEMBRANCE there, a REMEMBRANCE of what you saw before you were confined there. You will REMEMBER the sight of God's GLORY when you SAW Jesus Christ in all his SPLENDOR as you stood before him in judgment, a GLORY that is so WONDROUS to behold that even life itself has no meaning when compared thereto, yet a GLORY and a SPLENDOR which you will now be forever shut out of. Indeed, you will UTTERLY CRAVE that GLORY and the PERSONAGE from whence it emanates, even the Lord Jesus Christ, and though you will NEVER be allowed to embrace it, yet the REMEMBRANCE of that GLORY, even the GLORY of the Lord Jesus Christ HIMSELF, will stab you through your heart thousands and thousands of times a day throughout all eternity, especially when you also REMEMBER the sight of Jesus unfolding that VERY SAME GLORY and SHROUDING his chosen ones with it, SHROUDING his chosen ones WITH HIS OWN GLORY, SHROUDING IN HIS OWN GLORY those who have made a covenant with him by sacrifice in this life, and who consequently will NEVER be separated from him, as will you, and for all eternity, unless you REPENT here and now and receive eternal life in Jesus Christ through the UNMISTAKABLE SUPERNATURAL MIRACLE of the NEW BIRTH.

Indeed, when hell rises to meet you, it will inflict a double punishment upon you, a desolating punishment that will NEVER relent. On the one hand, the loss of all the glory and the grace and the love and the goodness and the splendor that Jesus Christ will willingly begin to bestow upon his elect, and will KEEP bestowing throughout all eternity, along with whatever else is honorable and pure and true, and on the other hand, nothing but pain and torment and terror and desolation, bounded on all sides by an utter lack of even a dram of hope, for there will never be an end to it, and for every dark and dreary moment of unimaginable suffering, yet hell will act only as an emulsifier, making each coming pain more intense, each coming torment more fierce, each coming terror more terrible, and each coming desperation more desolate, so that it will never end. Never. Oh! If words could even come CLOSE to describing the horrors of hell, I would write you a ten thousand page treatise as a mere introduction to it, but not ten thousand nor ten thousand thousands could even BEGIN to describe the ruin that is coming upon those who are outside of Jesus Christ the Righteous, for it is only in HIM, indeed, it is only in Jesus Christ the Righteous that ANYONE is safe from the wrath of a holy God which is certainly soon to come.

Yes, the wrath of God is coming soon upon this world, even the wrath of the Lamb, who ALONE among angels, men, and all creation, is WORTHY, yea, the wrath of the Lamb is coming indeed, but the ONE place that the wrath of God can NOT reach is inside of Jesus Christ HIMSELF, for not only has Jesus Christ HIMSELF overcome the world, the flesh, and the devil, but likewise Jesus Christ HIMSELF has WITHSTOOD the wrath of God, and has risen victoriously to tell about it, so that he can NEVER again be affected by it, as it is written --

Nor can those who belong to Jesus Christ ever be affected by it, not those who are INSIDE of Jesus Christ, that is. Are you INSIDE Jesus Christ? How do you know?

Beware, professing Christian. Heed these words of Spurgeon very closely if you value your immortal soul --

SUPERNATURAL means SUPERNATURAL. But don't get your definition for that word from any modern professing mainstream Christian. In fact, don't get your definitions from MODERN Christianity in ANY FORM, and ESPECIALLY not from the so-called Charismatics and Pentecostals, certainly not with regard to the meaning of SUPERNATURAL. No, get your definitions from the Bible. Beg Jesus Christ HIMSELF to teach you. Take his words to HEART. Study the testimonies of those in the Bible, especially the book of Acts, and don't be slack to study the testimonies of other men of God as well, such as a Bunyan or a Whitefield or a Spurgeon, and others. Moreover, my own testimony is TRUE and REAL, and I counsel you to consider it closely, for ALL who belong to Jesus Christ can give a SUPERNATURAL TESTIMONY that is SIMILAR to mine, or SIMILAR to Bunyan's, and so on. Not IDENTICAL, but SIMILAR. Oh yes, the MANIFESTATIONS may be as varied and as manifold as the stars in the heavens, but at the end of it all, no matter what, at the bottom of the well of consecration, when all is said and done, ALL, ALL, ALL who are TRULY born of the Spirit can give a TRULY SUPERNATURAL -- TRULY SUPERNATURAL -- TESTIMONY.

Can you?

Friend, YOU may have made a commitment to Jesus Christ, but unless you have EVIDENCE -- SUPERNATURAL EVIDENCE -- unless you have SUPERNATURAL EVIDENCE that Jesus Christ has made a commitment to YOU, by FILLING you with his Spirit, indeed, unless you have SUPERNATURAL EVIDENCE that Jesus Christ has made a commitment to YOU by FILLING you with his Spirit, EXACTLY as described in the quotations noted in these two works on the FILLING of the Holy Spirit -- Part I, Part II -- then you will NEVER enter the kingdom of heaven, for if Jesus Christ has not borne witness to you HERE by FILLING you with his Spirit, neither will he bear witness to you THERE, when you stand before him at his judgment seat.

Consequently, I challenge every one of you, every one of you reading this right now, to SERIOUSLY EXAMINE YOURSELF, and be BRUTALLY HONEST with YOURSELF, for you can NEVER be FILLED with the Holy Spirit until you are BORN of the Holy Spirit in a MANIFEST SUPERNATURAL EXPERIENCE -- MANIFEST -- MANIFEST -- MANIFEST SUPERNATURAL EXPERIENCE -- and you will NEVER be BORN of the Holy Spirit unless you are BRUTALLY HONEST about your condition [2 Corinthians 13:5]. Accordingly, I warn you again, if you cannot HONESTLY and LEGITIMATELY claim the EXPERIENCE of being FILLED with the Holy Spirit, EXACTLY as demonstrated in the quotations here -- Part I, Part II -- a FILLING which occurs IMMEDIATELY UPON the MOMENT of REGENERATION, then do something about it NOW, while you still can -- I say, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT NOW, WHILE YOU STILL CAN -- for if you INSIST on DECEIVING YOURSELF, God not only will NOT STOP YOU, but God will actually ENHANCE YOUR ABILITY to FURTHER DECEIVE YOURSELF, and God will do this by imposing JUDICIAL BLINDNESS upon you, for God HATES LIES, and there is NO LIE that God HATES WORSE than the SELF-DECEIVING LIE, for the SELF-DECEIVING LIE is ROOTED IN PRIDE, and that is the very NATURE of wickedness and iniquity [2 Thessalonians 2:11, John 8:44, Matthew 11:25-26].

Have you ever FELT, have you ever EXPERIENCED, the MANIFEST POWER of the Holy Spirit SUPERNATURALLY INDWELLING YOU? If not, then never think of going to heaven, for you are not yet meet for heaven. And yet...

I tell you -- and I call Father, Son, and Holy Spirit to record against that day I stand before the Lord Jesus at his judgment seat -- indeed, I tell you that Jesus Christ can be KNOWN, and KNOWN more INTIMATELY than ANY other person in existence. Jesus Christ is not only the source of all life, he is likewise the sustainer and dispenser of all life, and he is therefore capable of making HIMSELF MANIFEST to his ELECT more certainly than any created being can make himself known to you, exactly as he has promised in [John 14:21-23], and numerous other passages.

If you will not prize your soul above ALL ELSE, you will NEVER be granted a SAVING audience with Jesus Christ. Blind Bartimaeus, as recorded in the gospels, would be saved at all costs. Will you be saved at all costs? If you will not be saved at all costs, you will not be saved by Jesus Christ at all.

Would you be born again? GENUINELY born again?

Then take wise counsel -- pick up a Bible based on the Traditional Text -- in English, the ONLY VALID Bible based on the Traditional Text is the King James Bible -- and then read with SOLEMNITY, beginning in the Gospels preferably, and beg Jesus Christ to reveal himself to you, and give him no rest until he does, for if you read the TRUE written Word of God, you will find the Lord of Glory, even Jesus Christ, moving upon the face of the waters in its pages, just as he moved upon the face of the waters when he walked across the Sea of Galilee, and if you follow the advice just given, and if you persist, Jesus Christ HIMSELF will verily MANIFEST HIMSELF to you (for he HIMSELF promises to do this for those who truly heed this advice), just as he MANIFESTED HIMSELF to his disciples when he moved upon the face of the waters as he walked across the stormy sea some two thousand years ago, and just as he did with ME not too many years ago, and just as he has done with a FEW others from day to day since that time, in this very generation, and just as he will do for YOU if -- IF -- you heed my advice, and if -- IF -- you persist therein, for he who promised is FAITHFUL. John 14:21-23, Matthew 14:25-27
