MARKS OF REGENERATION II

The SECOND mark of regeneration, which comes immediately upon the heels of EXTREME LOVE TO JESUS CHRIST, as we saw in the first excursus on this matter, entitled MARKS OF REGENERATION I, indeed, the SECOND mark of regeneration is so closely related to the FIRST mark of regeneration as to be inseparable, but which also reveals itself very distinctly as an EXTREME JEALOUSY AND ZEAL FOR THE GLORY OF JESUS CHRIST.

Alas, there is NOTHING that is more SACROSANCT to the newly regenerated believer, and I mean NOTHING, than the GLORY of Jesus Christ and ZEAL for exalting his name. There is absolutely NOTHING more SACROSANCT to the newly regenerated believer than that. NOTHING WHATSOEVER, as ALL who have been truly regenerated KNOW, and know INFALLIBLY. Nothing WHATSOEVER.

This ZEAL and JEALOUSY for the GLORY of Jesus Christ is precisely BECAUSE OF THE EXTREME LOVE the newborn has to Jesus Christ by the POWER of the Holy Spirit, even the Jesus of the Bible. Because the GENUINELY born again believer has an OVERRIDING, INCONSOLABLE, BILLOWING, EXTREME LOVE to the MAN Christ Jesus by the POWER of the Holy Spirit, even the Jesus of the Bible, BECAUSE the newborn has this EXTREME HOLY GHOST LOVE to Jesus Christ, he is therefore EXORBITANTLY JEALOUS for the GLORY of Jesus Christ, and EXORBITANTLY ZEALOUS for exalting the NAME of Jesus Christ.

This is one reason why ALL who are truly regenerate know that anybody who has genuinely been indwelt by the Holy Spirit would NEVER accept a "bible" which removes GOD in 1 Timothy 3:16 after having seen the distinction, even if they know NOTHING WHATSOEVER of the evidence concerning this verse, for the Holy Spirit HIMSELF bears INFALLIBLE WITNESS to the Traditional Text and GOD in this verse in ALL whom he indwells, and which ALL who are JEALOUS for the GLORY of Jesus Christ and who are ZEALOUS for his name KNOW, and KNOW INFALLIBLY, for NOBODY is more JEALOUS for the GLORY of Jesus Christ, and NOBODY is more ZEALOUS for EXALTING his NAME, than the Holy Spirit HIMSELF. I repeat -- NOBODY is more JEALOUS for the GLORY of Jesus Christ and more ZEALOUS for exalting Jesus Christ's name than the Holy Spirit HIMSELF. NOBODY.

And there is NO verse in Scripture, or anywhere else, for that matter, no indeed, there is NO passage in Scripture or anywhere else in this world that EXALTS the very GLORY of Jesus Christ, and that GLORIFIES HIS NAME, more than THIS verse, even 1 Timothy 3:16 in the Traditional Text, even the VERSE and the TRUTH which states that GOD WAS MANIFEST IN THE FLESH. There is NO GREATER TESTIMONY IN ALL OF CREATION TO THE GLORY OF JESUS CHRIST THAN GOD MANIFEST IN THE FLESH, as ALL who are born of the Spirit KNOW, and KNOW INFALLIBLY.

That's why Charles Hodge spoke for ALL who are truly regenerate by putting it so plainly, bluntly, and accurately when he stated --

You can therefore take it as axiomatic, which means you can take it as being CERTAIN, that ANY man who has seen this variant in 1 Timothy 3:16 and yet STILL accepts the REMOVAL OF GOD in this verse has not only NEVER been born of the Spirit of Christ, and consequently is not in spirit and in truth JEALOUS for the GLORY of Jesus Christ, nor ZEALOUS for exalting Jesus Christ's name, but such a man is likewise a CONSECRATED ENEMY OF THE CROSS OF JESUS CHRIST, AND A CONSECRATED ENEMY OF THE TRUTH AS IT IS IN JESUS. I repeat, and the Holy Ghost HIMSELF so testifies, that such a man has NEVER seen Jesus Christ in his GLORY by the POWER of the Holy Spirit, and that such a man is consequently NOT born of the Spirit of Christ. Not even CLOSE, no matter how much he pontificates and protests to the contrary.

Indeed, unlike the truly regenerate, those who defend the REMOVAL of GOD in this clause have never SEEN Jesus Christ in his GLORY by the POWER of the Holy Spirit in the UNMISTAKABLE SUPERNATURAL MIRACLE of the NEW BIRTH, as noted in our first excursus on this topic. For had they -- indeed, had they SEEN Jesus Christ in his GLORY by the POWER of the Holy Spirit, they would KNOW BY THAT VERY SAME SPIRIT that GOD WAS MANIFEST IN THE FLESH, and that that is EXACTLY what the Holy Spirit HIMSELF authored through Paul in 1 Timothy 3:16. And he who has been made aware of this variant and yet doesn't KNOW that, and KNOW it SUPERNATURALLY by the POWER of the Holy Spirit, is he who has NEVER been indwelt by the Holy Spirit, and who consequently has no portion in Jesus Christ's kingdom. None. Not unless he repents and becomes born again, for that VERY VERSE is the FULCRUM upon which ALL TRUTH and ALL SCRIPTURE turns.

Just as the princes of this world would have never crucified Jesus Christ had they known who he really was, neither would our modern Latin Vulgate textual critics and Latin Vulgate "bible" translators and Latin Vulgate "bible version" supporters have ever crucified Jesus Christ afresh by removing GOD in this passage, for not only is this verse the GREATEST GUN in ALL the Word of God, but is likewise the FOUNDATION upon which ALL GENUINE REVELATION unfolds, as, once again, as the Holy Spirit HIMSELF testifies in ALL whom he indwells, yes, as the Holy Spirit HIMSELF testifies  in ALL, ALL, ALL whom he indwells, as John Owen so eloquently explained when he wrote --

And thus those of us who are GENUINELY born again know why IT IS NOT POSSIBLE for a GENUINELY born again Christian to rebuff the Holy Spirit and thereby EXCISE the STRONGEST STATEMENT in ALL the Word of God testifying to the DEITY, and thereby the GLORY, of Jesus Christ. It literally IS NOT POSSIBLE for a GENUINELY born again Christian to SNUB the Holy Spirit concerning this TRUTH -- this INERRANT, INCORRUPTIBLE, INFALLIBLE TRUTH -- and to thus SNUB Jesus Christ HIMSELF by denying the INFALLIBLE WITNESS of the Holy Ghost HIMSELF in this verse, and to thereby deny Jesus Christ's GLORY in this verse, especially since the Holy Spirit HIMSELF gives INFALLIBLE WITNESS to this truth in ALL whom he indwells -- there are NO exceptions -- not to mention the reams of other places in modern "bibles" and the Latin Vulgate text they are based on where they have done the same thing, that is, where they have not only diminished Jesus Christ's GLORY, but have in a number of cases literally INSULTED Jesus Christ, as I have demonstrated elsewhere. Indeed, a man -- a GENUINELY born again man who is JEALOUS for the GLORY of Jesus Christ would need OVERWHELMING EVIDENCE -- would need literally OVERPOWERING, IRREFUTABLE, CONCLUSIVE EVIDENCE -- before he would EVER countenance a change to a fundamental text concerning Jesus Christ and his Godhood and thus his GLORY. Not only is such EVIDENCE not forthcoming with regard to this verse, but in fact, the actual EVIDENCE is UTTERLY OVERPOWERING, IRREFUTABLE, AND CONCLUSIVE in the OPPOSITE direction. Which is to say, the EVIDENCE for GOD in this passage is UTTERLY CONCLUSIVE, not only SUPERNATURALLY from the Holy Spirit HIMSELF in ALL whom he truly indwells, but also in the PHYSICAL EVIDENCE as well, which is UTTERLY CONCLUSIVE in FAVOR of GOD MANIFEST IN THE FLESH, as shown HERE, and which therefore happens to wax upon the conspirators poetic, for God will make sure that those unregenerates who have INSULTED Jesus Christ by NULLIFYING the STRONGEST STATEMENT in ALL the Word of God concerning his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, and the TRUTH upon which ALL GENUINE REVELATION is based, will have no excuses WHATSOEVER when they are called to account for their BLASPHEMY, and don't think for one SECOND that the REMOVAL of GOD in this passage doesn't amount to SHEER, UNADULTERATED, ARROGANT, UNREGENERATE BLASPHEMY, for it does.

Verily, the REMOVAL of GOD in this passage by modern Latin Vulgate textual critics and by modern Latin Vulgate "bible versions", including ALL, ALL, ALL of the pastors and laymen and professors of Jesus Christ who SUPPORT and DEFEND this INSULT to Jesus Christ and his GLORY, amounts to SHEER, UNADULTERATED, ARROGANT, UNREGENERATE BLASPHEMY indeed, and precisely BECAUSE the Holy Spirit HIMSELF bears INFALLIBLE WITNESS to GOD MANIFEST IN THE FLESH in ALL whom he TRULY indwells WITHOUT EXCEPTION. Wait and see.

As a matter of fact, if the REMOVAL of GOD in 1 Timothy 3:16 doesn't INCENSE YOU, after having seen the distinction and having thus noted the WILLFUL REMOVAL of GOD from the clause, then you have NEVER -- not in a MILLION years -- you have NEVER seen Jesus Christ in his GLORY by the POWER of the Holy Spirit, and consequently you have NEVER been born of him, for the Holy Spirit HIMSELF is UTTERLY INCENSED at the REMOVAL of GOD by modern Latin Vulgate textual critics in 1 Timothy 3:16, and if you yourself don't KNOW that the Holy Ghost HIMSELF is UTTERLY INCENSED at the REMOVAL of GOD in this passage, then you are utterly delusional if you think you are indwelt by the Holy Spirit. Absolutely, utterly delusional. You are entirely OUT OF YOUR ELEMENT when you hear of or read about or discourse on the Holy Spirit. You have NEVER been indwelt by the Holy Spirit, you know NOTHING of the GLORY of Jesus Christ and NOTHING WHATSOEVER -- NOTHING WHATSOEVER -- of HOLY GHOST JEALOUSY AND ZEAL for Jesus Christ's GLORY and the EXALTATION of his NAME -- I say, HOLY GHOST JEALOUSY AND ZEAL FOR JESUS CHRIST'S GLORY AND THE EXALTATION OF HIS NAME -- you know NOTHING WHATSOEVER of this, and thus you have no portion in Jesus Christ's kingdom. None. Wait, I say, and see.

The SECOND MARK OF REGENERATION in ALL who truly belong to Jesus Christ, is a HOLY GHOST JEALOUSY AND ZEAL for the GLORY of Jesus Christ and the EXALTATION of his NAME, and he who doesn't possess such a JEALOUSLY AND ZEAL -- A HOLY GHOST JEALOUSY AND ZEAL -- for the GLORY of Jesus Christ, for the GLORY of the MAN CHRIST JESUS -- NOT for Christianity, or Church, ad nauseam, but for the MAN Christ Jesus -- indeed, he who doesn't possess A HOLY GHOST JEALOUSY AND ZEAL FOR THE GLORY OF THE MAN CHRIST JESUS, even the Jesus of the Bible, is he who is INFALLIBLY UNREGENERATE -- there are absolutely NO EXCEPTIONS WHATSOEVER -- NONE. It LITERALLY is NOT POSSIBLE for a man to be indwelt by the Holy Spirit, even the Spirit of Christ, and not at the same time be UTTERLY, IRREVOCABLY, OVERWHELMINGLY JEALOUS AND ZEALOUS for the GLORY of Jesus Christ. IT IS NOT POSSIBLE. Wait and see.

And lest the ignorant soul delude himself, for only the truly feeble-minded could think so, to wit, that ZEAL for Jesus Christ, or JEALOUSLY for Jesus Christ's GLORY, is a BLIND zeal or a BLIND jealousy -- I say, only the truly feeble-minded could think thus -- be it known, therefore, thou deluded soul, that JEALOUSLY for the GLORY of Jesus Christ, and ZEAL for the EXALTATION of his NAME, is REVELATORY, not blind, indeed, even HOLY GHOST REVELATORY, for this JEALOUSY for the GLORY of the MAN Jesus Christ, even the Jesus of the Bible, and this ZEAL for the EXALTATION of his NAME, is none other than HOLY GHOST JEALOUSY, and HOLY GHOST ZEAL, which is infused into ALL, ALL, ALL whom he truly indwells upon the MOMENT of regeneration -- I say, which is INFUSED into ALL, ALL, ALL whom the Holy Spirit truly indwells upon the MOMENT of regeneration -- and there are ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS WHATSOEVER. None. Wait and see.

My friend, just as in the first excursus on this topic, so here -- if the above is not YOUR EXPERIENCE -- if, when you claim you were born again, you were not INFUSED with HOLY GHOST JEALOUSY for the GLORY of the MAN Christ Jesus, and INFUSED with HOLY GHOST ZEAL for EXALTING Jesus Christ's NAME, you haven't even been convicted by the Holy Spirit, much less born again. Not even close.

Can you so testify? If not, you are beyond delusional if you think you're born again. Wait and see.

Would you be born again? GENUINELY born again?

Then take wise counsel -- pick up a Bible based on the Traditional Text -- in English, the ONLY VALID Bible based on the Traditional Text is the King James Bible -- and then read with SOLEMNITY, beginning in the Gospels preferably, and beg Jesus Christ to reveal himself to you, and give him no rest until he does, for if you read the TRUE written Word of God, you will find the Lord of Glory, even Jesus Christ, moving upon the face of the waters in its pages, just as he moved upon the face of the waters when he walked across the Sea of Galilee, and if you follow the advice just given, and if you persist, Jesus Christ HIMSELF will verily MANIFEST HIMSELF to you (for he HIMSELF promises to do this for those who truly heed this advice), just as he MANIFESTED HIMSELF to his disciples when he moved upon the face of the waters as he walked across the stormy sea some two thousand years ago, and just as he did with ME not too many years ago, and just as he has done with a FEW others from day to day since that time, in this very generation, and just as he will do for YOU if -- IF -- you heed my advice, and if -- IF -- you persist therein, for he who promised is FAITHFUL. John 14:21, Matthew 14:25-27
